International Waterfowl Count – Eider Ducks
Last weekend was International Waterfowl Count. Since we are responsible for the second year, we had that weekend in our calendar for a long time. And the weather was just great – for the 4th time in a row. We were so lucky!
Unfortunately the Common Eiders (Somateria mollissima) were not swimming in our sector. We couldn’t count them , but I had to take some photos of them, dabbling in the morning sun.
