having a view without flying

Birds have the advantage of flying and getting a nice view like that. But this Monday morning they seemed not to bother about flying – they tried to get their views by standing on fences, poles and wires.

Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea – Graureiher):

Barn Swallow (Hirundo rustica – Rauchschwalbe):

Common Buzzard (Buteo buteo – Mäusebussard):

Black Redstart (Phoenicurus ochruros – Hausrotschwanz):

  1. Wonderful birds and photos! I really love the buzzard with the private sign.

  2. Thank you Eileen for your comment. The rest of the private sign says: no trespassing.

  3. That’s a beautiful collection.
Seems they are all quite beat from the heat (hey that rhymes) 🙂
    Are you German?

    • Hey yes that rhymes 🙂 but I took the pictures quit early in the morning, so they probably just wanted some fresh air…
