Early October Morning Birds
We had a wonderful late summer here in Switzerland. A lot of sun. But this means most of the time also a lot of fog in the morning. That’s why I didn’t wanted to do a lot of my scheduled morning walks. But just before the weather changed this Friday the sun was out from the beginning.
The Mallards (Anas platyrhynchos) were practicing their courting moves.
The Grey Heron (Ardea cinerea) was enjoying the sun as well.
To bad I didn’t get one totally focused.
And a Yellow-legged Gull (Larus michahellis) is watching from above.
And there were some surprises too. I’ll talk about them next time.
Beautiful morning images! Stunning fog shot and love the in flight Grey Heron. Great!
